These iron on clothing labels are designed for everyday use in aged care, rest homes, boarding schools and busy family homes. They suit most fabrics and items, including school uniforms, casual clothing, sports gear and many typical rest home garments and clothing.

Once applied, the labels form a smooth bond with the fabric and are made to withstand regular hot washing and drying. They are especially handy when clothing is going through shared laundries and you don’t want things going walkabout or ending up in the wrong cupboard or being lost at school.

We have been supplying iron on labels for over 20 years and it remains one of our most popular products. Many customers first order when a family member is moving into care, starting at boarding school or heading away to camp.

The labels can be used on a wide range of everyday clothing items such as tops, trousers, skirts, cardigans, nightwear and many sports uniforms. They are usually placed near the collar, or can be placed on the existing care tag or any smooth area of fabric that is easy to reach with the iron.

Apply using a hot, dry iron and allow the label to cool fully before wearing. Waiting 24 hours before the first wash will help achieve the strongest bond. (Full application instructions are provided and also available on our ironing instructions page.)

Special requests

• Labels can be made extra short for baby or toddler clothing
• You can request a mixture of standard and child sized labels within the same pack
• Labels can be made extra large or bold, ideal for visually impaired or elderly customers
• A second line can be added for details such as a phone number, room number or house name
• You may mention a preferred font style in the comments and we will use it where possible
• We can print some emojis (stars, animals, smiles) but they will be in one colour and may be small
